A film development program for Mongolian filmmakers

As an award-winning producer, filmmaker and screenwriter, Ulrik Bolt’s experience ranges from feature films to successful television creating, commissioning, and co-producing. He is as well consulting on business development within film- and TV and has extended experience as project leader on several EU funded projects. With ARENA FILM, he has set a mission to elevate Nordic stories to a global audience. He is currently developing/ co-creating several major TV drama series and consulting on film investments and public funding in Denmark and abroad. As board member of European Producers Club, he is elevating the general awareness of the role of the Independent Producer as the creative engine in any film- and TV project.

Dianne Taylor is a screenwriter. Most recently she has written After the Party, a six-part drama series co-production with Lingo Pictures and Luminous Beast for ABC and TVNZ. Her feature film Apron Strings (2008, dir. Sima Urale) screened at Toronto and Melbourne International Film Festivals. Follow up feature film, Beyond the Known World (2014) was shot in India, directed by Pan Nalin. Her feature film script Tender Age was selected for the eQuinoxe Europe script development programme (Australia) as well as the Eave Development Programme (Luxembourg). Dianne has mentored New Zealand writers over the past five years through the Fresh Shorts, Show me Shorts, and Paerangi programmes as well as working as a script consultant on feature film projects. She has completed the Script Factory screenplay analysis workshop in Melbourne and has taught screenwriting at Auckland University.

Esther Cahill-Chiaroni has been instrumental in supporting the exciting filmmakers of Aotearoa. Executive Director of Script to Screen for eight years, she led the organisation through significant growth, co-creating and directing Big Screen Symposium and creating a number of high impact filmmaker development programmes including FilmUp, Strength in Numbers, Episodic Lab, South Shorts and Story Camp Aotearoa, which she still leads. In 2019 Esther was the director of Raupapa Whakaari Series Drama Lab, a NZ Film Commission, NZ On Air and Script to Screen joint initiative, and programmed the Power of Inclusion Summit for NZ Film Commission and Walt Disney Studios. Since 2019 has led projects for NZ On Air, NZ Comedy Trust and Te-Taumata Toi-A-Iwi, where she helms a Creative Leadership Programme for wāhine arts’ leaders. Esther is an alumni of the Art Venture programme for creative entrepreneurs, and has a first-class Honours and Master’s Degree in Screen Production (directing major) from the University of Auckland.

Alessandra Pastore has 15 years of experience in the international audiovisual industry.After graduating in Film History and Critique from the University Alessandra worked as line producers on historical, social and current issues documentaries with the Italian production company Fabulafilm from 2004 to 2011. All documentaries have been co-produced and released on international level. Within the production company Alessandra has also been responsible for movies budgeting & cash flow, call for applications and reporting for regional, national and supranational funds. Since 2006 she has also been involved in the setup and coordination of a number of international vocational training programmes for emerging producers and professionals, supported among the others, by the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme, Eurimages, Council of Europe, EuroEast Culture. She is CFO of MAIA Associazione Culturale, specialised in organisation of training initiatives & workshops. Alessandra is frequently called to lecture on training initiatives both in Italy and abroad. She is specialized in lectures for emerging professionals mostly about development timeline & strategy, Legal, Budgeting & financing plan, Financing international strategy, Packaging & short documents, Marketing & promotional strategy for projects from the development stage to distribution, Pitching & markets strategy. Since 2019 Alessandra is the pitching trainer for the selected projects of the Torino Short Film Market. Alessandra also consults with production companies on development and co-production issues. In particular, she has been international co-productions coordinator, responsible for supranational funds (among which Creative Europe MEDIA and Eurimages), development strategy, packaging & markets strategy. Alessandra has sat in 2019-2020 the board of the Italian Ministry of Culture as member of the evaluation committee for the Minority Co-production scheme. She is currently called to sit in evaluation committee of regional film funds, festivals & training initiatives. Alessandra is the founder and manager of LAND-Local Audiovisual Network & Development, a format to develop professional skills and networks in local environments in connection with the work of Film Commissions and Regions. Since 2016, she is Head of Programme at When East Meets West, the co-production forum in Trieste (Italy) for feature docs & fiction projects with a strong international potential in terms of coproduction, distribution and circulation. Starting from 2019, Alessandra is the Head of Industry of Meeting Point – Vilnius, the industry Work-InProgress event for debut directors, under the Vilnius International Film Festival – Kinopavasaris. Starting from 2023 she is Coordinator of SIC-Venice International Film Critics' Week at the Venice International Film Festival. Alessandra is member of the European Film Academy

Lives Gadigal Lands/Sydney. Australian artist/filmmaker Lynette Wallworth is renowned for creating profoundly empathetic works while pushing the boundaries of emerging technologies. Wallworth has worked for over 20 years in immersive technologies and has won two Emmy awards for her innovative VR and XR works. Wallworth’s works include the interactive video installation Evolution of Fearlessness; the DOMIE Award-winning full-dome feature Coral, the AACTA Award-winning documentary Tender, the Emmy® Award-winning virtual reality narrative Collisions and XR work Awavena which premiered at Sundance Film Festival, was in competition at the Venice Film Festival and in September 2020 garnered Lynette her 2nd Emmy® Award for Outstanding New Approaches in Documentary. She has been awarded a UNESCO City of Film Award, the Byron Kennedy Award for Innovation and Excellence, and in 2016 was named by Foreign Policy magazine as one of the year’s 100 Leading Global Thinkers. She directed the New Narratives Lab for the World Economic Forum to generate opportunities for under-represented voices. She is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Metaverse Governance Working Group and sits on the Sundance Institute’s Technology Committee. She has been an Artist in Residence at the Australian Human Rights Institute, UNSW and at AFTRS and currently she is Artist in Residence at the School of Cybernetics, ANU.
